I’m Gabrielle (she/her) —an illustrator and long-time design professional turned interior decorator and wallpaper & fabric pattern designer. I create custom interiors shaped by nature-informed, visually story-driven wallpaper and fabric, blending hand-drawn illustration with a meticulous understanding of pattern design, color balance, and interior flow so each pattern feels as thoughtfully engineered as it is expressive, and lives comfortably in real rooms and real routines for those using the space.
Alongside my pattern work, I am an interior decorator—a role that naturally complements my love of wallpaper and textiles. I help those I work with—designers, trade partners, homeowners, and small business owners—explore how pattern, color, and texture can shape a room, offering curated pattern selections, substrate samples, and design presentations that support clarity and creativity.
My work has recently been featured in multiple showroom vignettes at Concept 32, where several spaces incorporate my designs right alongside custom cabinetry and storage. Collaborations like this bring together the best of what I do: artistic exploration, technical pattern expertise, and thoughtful integration into real spaces where people live, work, and dream.
Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up drawing, collecting colors, noticing shapes, and studying the quiet beauty in the world around me. Those early instincts evolved into a creative practice rooted in intention, curiosity, and a love for making environments feel more alive, more personal, and more meaningful.
Today, I design wallpapers and custom fabrics for residential and small commercial interiors, with a focus on patterns that bring harmony, vibrancy, and character to a space. I think about color and scale from a builder’s perspective as much as an artist’s—how repeat structure affects visual rhythm, how a pattern flows across a room, and how texture, linework, and palette influence the way a space feels. Every design begins with a hand-drawn or digitally illustrated foundation, then moves through professional-level repeat engineering, scale testing, and refinement so it performs beautifully on walls, upholstery, and soft furnishings.
My creative background spans illustration, textile design, and interior decorating. This combination of disciplines gives me a unique lens: I understand both the artistic and technical sides of pattern design, and how those choices translate into real interiors. When I’m decorating or collaborating with designers, I think like a pattern designer; and when I’m designing patterns, I think like a decorator. It’s a fluid relationship that allows my work to support the full experience of a room—its personality, purpose, and energy.
I’m also someone who values authenticity and connection. I believe that homes and workplaces should reflect those who use them, and that design should feel personal, not performative. I welcome and love working with a wide range of people, identities, and family structures, and I’m committed to creating spaces where everyone feels at home. Everything I create—whether a bold wallpaper, a quiet floral, or a full-room palette—comes from a genuine place.
