Working With Me
-
I love collaborating with interior designers, other interior decorators, cabinetry and finishes companies, and other interiors trade partners. My decorating and wallpaper & fabric designs can bring personality and beauty to showroom vignettes, or client projects through custom wallpaper & fabric designs, and/or full aesthetic direction for a space.

Wallpapers

Absolutely! Samples let you see the colors, textures, and print scale in person before committing to wallpaper rolls. Sample costs depend on wallpaper material. Sample costs depend on wallpaper material.
If you’re curious how each substrate behaves and where it works best, you can download my two free printable Wallpaper & Fabric Substrate Guides (2 PDFs) when you join my Surface & Space email list.

You need to see the patterns you like in the actual spaces you’ll be installing or using them. This is important to ensure what you envision, and the more permanent fixtures in your space, both match the sample.
Digital imagery (even photographs) presents differently than having an actual sample to see and feel.
It helps to have samples of all wallpapers and fabrics — and all other finishes (paint, fixtures, existing furniture, soft goods, and other finishes in front of you in the room together where you can view them in natural daylight, day and night overhead or lamp lighting. All of these effect your perception of these interior aesthetics.
You’ll save $$$ and have a clearer expectation of how they’ll elevate your space.

Unless you’re a wallpaper installer yourself, given the investment you’re making to beautify your spaces, a professional wallpaper installer is highly recommended. With a well-vetted professional wallpaper installer, you know the job will be done well and done right.
-
While I cannot recommend specific wallpaper installers outside of Colorado, I can recommend you start with your local business chambers and directories. Also check out https://www.wallcoveringinstallers.org/. This is your space and your investment, so do your due diligence.

Recommended wallpaper substrates include:
Non-pasted
Grasscloth
Gold or Silver Metallic
Vinyl
Peel-and-Stick (for temporary applications)
If you’d like a deeper dive into each of these materials—how they behave, where they work best, and what to watch out for—I’ve created two free printable substrate guides (wallpaper + fabric). When you join my Surface & Space email list, you’ll get instant access to these two printable guides that walk through each substrate in more detail so you can choose with confidence.

I typically recommend high-quality wallpapers that are removable yet durable, with a professional-grade finish. My designs work beautifully on non-pasted wallpaper, grasscloth, silver or gold metallic, and vinyl for long-term residential and commercial installations; and, peel-and-stick for renters, home staging, and other temporary applications. Trade partners often prefer the elegance of grasscloth, non-pasted, or, depending on what the space is being used for, commercial-grade vinyl for commercial spaces since it’s scrubbable and holds up well over time.

Many of my wallpaper printers offer eco-conscious options with water-based inks, PVC-free materials, and FSC-certified papers. I can help you select the best substrate for your project’s aesthetic, durability, and sustainability needs.

My patterns translate beautifully onto all fabrics. I have five primary go-tos because they are beautiful to behold, durable with an elegant feel, and my patterns pop on them so wonderfully. For upholstery that’s going to be in a busy space, I recommend high-performance fabrics like Performance Linen or Performance Velvet; I also love the feel and look of Celosia Velvet® for luxury and comfort, and Belgium Linen for its durability and elegance. For window treatments such as draperies, I am partial to Performance Linen because it is such a beautiful fabric with a subtle shimmer, lovely drape, and touch. For bedding, I like Cotton Sateen, a soft cotton that is also great for table linens and more translucent curtains.

Absolutely! Samples let you see the colors, textures, and print scale in person before committing to yardage. Sample sizes and costs depend on fabric type. I’ll guide you through the process so you choose the perfect fabric for your project. Visit my Fabric Collections page, select the pattern collection you’re interested in. Drawn to Delight Coloring Book
-
For me, I classify my Drawn to Delight coloring book as “adult” because it is a premium coloring book geared toward colorists who enjoy more detailed coloring pages and want to explore coloring techniques beyond just filling in the lines. I consider Drawn to Delight most suitable for teens and adults.
That being said, I was coloring with shading, mixed colors, and adding my own details at age five, so I would not limit Drawn to Delight to a societal age. Watch your children when they color at home and school and see how they go about coloring, what types of coloring tools they gravitate toward — try purchasing a book for yourself and sharing it with them as well. They’ll show you what they enjoy and that will be your cue as to whether they would find pleasure in this coloring book or would prefer something with more simple shapes and lines. It’s all up the the colorist, no matter what their age.
-
Coloring, like art, is subjective. If you find joy in coloring — inside or outside the lines — embrace that joy! And, if you’re not sure, purchase Drawn to Delight to see if coloring is something you find fun and relaxing, like so many, in fact, do.
Try having a coloring party. I host occasional “Girls Night IN” coloring parties to bring the amazing women in my life — friends old and new — into my home for the pure joy of community, laughter, and getting to know one another better. There is no judgment. We’re simply coloring for fun and relaxation.
-
Unfortunately, my publisher doesn’t currently offer bulk pricing, though when ordering multiple items, the per-book shipping cost goes down.
On that note: Please contact me directly, if you’re looking to order for a coloring party and I can help you figure out how many books to order and how to order them.
-
Unfortunately, not at this time, however, you can save on shipping costs by ordering more than one.
Please contact me and I can help you figure out the best way to order.
